Make an appointment with a Physician

If you would like to make an appointment with one of the physicians in the Cancer Centers, you will need to know the type of specialist(s) you need. Most patients are referred by another physician. We do accept patients who refer themselves, but we encourage discussion with your physician in order to determine the appropriateness of the consultation and to take full advantage of a collegial communication about your care. If you are in a managed care plan, we require a physician referral and you are responsible for obtaining the referral approval. If you do not have a doctor, you can contact our physician referral service. You can also make appointments with other healthcare providers in the Cancer Centers, including nurses, social workers, health educators, and dietitian.
