How is Continuum Cancer Centers of New York organized?
Continuum Cancer Centers of New York are organized both by the physician's department and the type of treatment in which he or she specializes. Examples of departments are radiology or pathology; examples of types of treatments are surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. The Cancer Centers are also organized by disease oriented programs — such as head and neck cancers, lung cancer, breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, gynecological cancers, and urinary cancers — or by programs such as the Research Program or the Cancer Supportive Services Program.
